Reviews on Catcher in the Rye?

I'm in an Honors English class and we are required to read three books. Two of the books, we get to choose the books from a list that they provide for us. One book I chose was Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I was wondering if you recommend this book or if I should choose anther one. Thanks!
