What do you consider to be the most overrated classic novel?

Mine would have to be "The Scarlett Letter" by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I read it in 10th grade and it was horrible. I didn't care too much more Fitzgerald either. Also, what is your favorite classic novel? Mine would be "Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger.
